I started one many years ago...I love flower quilts! I started one many years ago when people were still using cotton/poly blends, and whe I got back into quilting a few years ago pulled it out. It was appliqued irises, and I had at least 1/5 of it done. I knew how badly the poly would start to pill over a few uses, and pitched it. It broke my heart at the time, but I knew I would groan every time I had to work on something that wouldn't loss. Your patchy flowers are going to be beautiful all together in a garden quilt.
