Summer crops and coming to an end here in Australia but I have been bottling and freezing for many months. The best my vege garden has ever been. It must be quite the challenge to be a step ahead of all your visitors. I have been growing organic potatoes for about four years now. My husband made me boxes that nest on top of each other so harvesting is easier. Hope you have a good growing season.Pennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08651538891968788034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7217778911642814493.post-40108298406673800672017-04-27T08:18:29.295-04:002017-04-27T08:18:29.295-04:00I have tried growing tomatoes and the vines are ju...I have tried growing tomatoes and the vines are just beautiful but I can't even get one tomato. So I stick to flowers and they do beautifully here. We have moles too and they just destroy our yard, I don't remember any when we were children. Everyone fights moles now. How did they become so many ? We have deer and fox and coyote and everything else. I've thought of putting chicken wire around my roses, but it is so ugly, I would like a prettier alternative. I also planted marigolds in the beds, lemon grass beside one of them, and catnip beside another. The moles are terrible in my yard. How does the castor oil and dish soap work? They don't like gravel either. I was looking out at a hosta plant one day, only to see it be pulled down into the hole by a vole. They do like to take up residence where they are not wanted! Good luck with your eviction notices. :)Ramonahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08372490691404713146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7217778911642814493.post-54857555965418220172017-04-26T11:37:23.246-04:002017-04-26T11:37:23.246-04:00I'd love a green house.
