Blah Blah Boring

Even with the help of EQ design errors can be made.  This looked lovley in my mind and EQ.  On the wall it's boring and plain with all the blocks the same.  All the pieces are cut so there's no turning back now.
  What if.....
Is it too much?  That's alot of gingham...Hmmmm
Maybe if I stand back and stare it'll look better...add some mock yo-yos in the petals....
Perhaps on point with every other row no petals.....a solid for the petal would look better, but I've nothing in my stash.
What I am certain of is a quilter can't take to many pictures.

  5. Oh I love every single version of that quilt. If it was me and I was not thrilled with it, I would turn it into a baby quilt. This would be a PERFECT gift! PERFECT!

  17. I really like it on-point and with the yoyo centers. I agree that when you place the petals at every on-point the gingham is to much. I think its because the red is so bright. I would love to see it with the flora fabric in the petals instead of the gingham. I think it would make for a softer look. Also I would love to see how it looks if you randomly place the petals using gingham rather than in a straight row. I hope you give us the tips for piecing all those curves. Thanks
