How about we start out this party with a few new ideas for using the Back Porch Blooms block. To make this even more fun I'm going to let you pick the next quilt I make using this block.
Quilt #1 is called Butterfly Garden. It's a large wall hanging that measures 66x39. I think it would look adorable in any sewing room.
Quilt #2 is called Bachelor Button Boogie, it measures 69x69. All the open space in this one is hard to resist if you're like me and love to quilt it to death.
Quilt #3 is called Moon Flower Magic. This one would be great for using up oodles of scraps.
So which one would you like to make? Just leave a comment on this post telling me which one makes your little ole heart sing and the one with the most votes will be the next free quilt pattern.
To save space and time I'm not going to go over every new free pattern made using the Back Porch Blooms block. Instead I'm going to tell you if your new here and wondering what I'm talking about just go to the tutorials tab at the top of my blog and you'll find several free patterns using the Back Porch Bloom Block. Or you can click on this image in the sidebar to be taken to all posts about the Back Porch Blooms quilt along here on my blog.
It's not too late to join in the quilt along. I'll be hosting at least one more linky party and giveaway next month. So here's the rules for the link up.

sorry I just read your instructions and my link is not to one of your patterns - sorry! I think pattern #2 is great
ReplyDeleteAll your designs are so gorgeous but if I had to choose, I like the 3rd one 'Moon Flower'
ReplyDelete#1! Flutterby Garden!
ReplyDelete#3 Moon Flower Magic has my vote. Thanks for the quilt along, it's been a lot of fun.
ReplyDelete#1 please.
ReplyDeleteOh, Moon Flower Magic - the possibilities with scraps makes me tingle.
ReplyDeleteI vote for Moon Flower Magic.
ReplyDeleteI love Quilt #3-Moon Flower Magic.
ReplyDeleteI made a Back Porch Bloom quilt but I do not have a blog. I tried to link-up using just an uploaded picture but it kept saying I needed a URL. Do I need to have a blog; is that the problem?
so hard to pick but no 3 has my vote I think it is the dark background that swung it for me
ReplyDeleteAll are so lovely. I'd chose the first one with the fence as it has the flowers, leaves, butterfies, border, and hearts. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI would love to make each quilt, but #3, Moonflower Magic is so striking!!!

ReplyDeleteMoonflower Magic please!
ReplyDeleteI love them all! but will go with #1-Butterfly Garden.
ReplyDeleteMoon flower Magic. I'm actually hoping to have some moon flowers blooming outside my porch before long. I like the dark background.

ReplyDeleteMoon flower magic is the one that catches my eye!
ReplyDeleteBachelor Button Boogie is one I would love to quilt!!
ReplyDeleteI vote for number one: Butterfly Garden. I am trying to finish up some UFO's right now, but I want to make number one, maybe a bit smaller for a table runner. If I was faster at making quilts I would be able to join in your linky party, but I need to finish things I started first. I just finished a top that I made all the blocks for 6 years ago. I need to quilt that one and then I laid out the blocks from the Bloom blocks I made and I need to get that one finished too. I'm not as speedy as you are Lea!
ReplyDeleteMoon Flower Magic is my favorite. Great way to use more scrap fabric. Especially all the greens I have! I love your patterns and have been following your use of your posies.
ReplyDeleteNumber 1, butterfly garden. I'd love to have this one hanging in my studio.
ReplyDelete#3 is AWESOME!! My fave :)
ReplyDeleteI love Butterfly Garden #1; I think it would look great in my new quilting studio. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm voting for Moon Flower Magic, but I really hope you'll do all of them!
ReplyDeleteOh I love the Butterfly Garden wall hanging...so cute and inspiring.....
ReplyDeleteI know how fast and prolific you are, Lea Anne, so you will probably make all 3 by next week! My favorite is the Moon Flower Magic quilt. I love how the dark background sets off the pretty fabrics in the flowers. Very cute and happy!
ReplyDeleteI love all your patterns, but I would like to make number 3 right now.
ReplyDeleteI like number 3 to use up all my scraps....really cute.

All of your patterns so cute, Lea Anne! The first one really makes my heart sing. Thanks for your generosity!
ReplyDeleteThey all look cute. #3 would be good because it uses more scraps, but #2 has all that space for trying FMQing - so I vote for that!
ReplyDeleteAll very cute but #3 stole my heart!
ReplyDeleteButterfly garden.
