Happy Giggle Day!

So what's Giggle Day?  Any day that is spent with my two boys is Giggle day.  Derek(oldest son on the left) and Trever(my baby on the right) have a love for life and laughter.  Even when life is kicking them around a bit they find a way to joke about it and laugh.

And they're always willing to help momma with anything.  Even when the weather isn't the best for the task at hand.   All I wanted was pictures of the backing I pieced last week for my Podunk Posy quilt and good pictures of the Posy quilt top.

They never complained or asked if it was over yet.  Real troopers that are willing to do what ever it takes to make momma happy.

After the quilt photo shoot we decided to take a little walk.  Mom and Dads property is gorgeous.  I love this old Sycamore tree.  It was about knee high when I was 6 yrs old.

For a brief moment I thought how this would make a great spot for a family photo.  Then reality kicked in....my boys can't be serious!  They're even corrupting Trever's girlfriend Heather!  Every time I put my finger on the camera button they would strike a goofy pose, that's why I love'em...The Goof Troop!

  7. You take the breath out of me with your quilt.I showed it to my fellow quilters in my guild. They were mad about it, and we've decided to make one together for the local hospital. Some of the ladies said they would like to do one for themselves, too. I'll send you pictures as the quilt is coming along later this year. And your sons surely are nice boys caring for their mother. I have two of them, too, and they're worth their weight in gold.

  16. That's a great quilt - and LOL I was looking for toddlers as well! Our oldest boy (26) will model anything I make, and will be a total goof about it - he's particularly fetching in sunbonnets (he's 26, haha). The other one (24) - not so much! I usually wait for the older one to come visit and then nab his services for picture taking duty :D
