I attempted to make a modern quilt.  Totally out of my comfort zone.  Sometimes you're better off not stepping outside the box.     Even if its not the best modern it still was a great canvas for quiting, so it wasnt a total loss.    Maybe this one should go on the wall for way to much quilting.  14 bobbins of thread!       How about the name of Bubblegum and Butterflies?

  1. Hi Lea. I LOVE your Bubble Gum Butterfly quilt and the quilting is beautiful! I can only dream to quilt like this. I saw it first on the Quilting Board and knew it had to be yours so I checked out your blog. I met you at the Morgan Co Quilt Guild. The quilts you shared there were gorgeous too. Great job!

  3. Your quilting is AMAZING!!! What a great talent to have! (I'm still trying to figure out how to do meandering with out pointy loops!) :)
