DWM Disaster

Happy Hot Monday!  The temperature is rising outside along with the humidity and my frustration.  Just take a look at this Design Wall from yesterday.  As you can see there's 3 stems numbered.  Look closely, see my blunders?
 1. Is Perfect, YEAH
2. My first messed up block that I decided I could live with until....
3. All I can say is sometimes daises wilt with the hot weather.
After so many issues I decided to switch gears and finish printing the 9 cute little ladies on the left.  After printing one the printer ran out of ink.   GRRRRR...
Sometimes you're better off just to walk away and call it a day.
The only thing that could make this day better is chocolate and shopping.  Sounds like a plan to me!
Linking up my mess over at PatchworkTimes Design Wall Monday.

  1. Days like this are so aggravating, but as the saying goes... The sun will come up tomorrow! I love your "Pile" of daisy blocks in the corners. They would make a cool quilt like that. Hope your shopping was fun!

  5. Love your pinwheel flowers. I have been wanting to make some with rickrack stems. Sometimes chocolate is the right answer, no matter what the question is.

  7. The blooms are gorgeous. Sorry about the wilting leaves, that happens sometimes. Hope you found a cure for the frustration.

  8. Your flowers look so cheerful, how could they be wrong? I have days like that too Lea Anne.

  9. I too have days when nothing seems to go right! Nothing wrong though with wilting leaves I have plenty in my garden. By now you will have the printer working again and all will be well

  10. What an annoying day, but I must say I love your daisies, and I think I'd be tempted to leave your wilting daisy as it is and even make a central feature of it in the quilt, just for a laugh.

  12. I had to laugh at your flower "disasters". They look cute no matter which way the leaves decide to go. =)

  13. I agree with Lara - they're to cheery to be mistakes. Leaves go every which way in nature. Hope today is better.

  14. I've had days like that, weeks like that! Although I have to say, USE THESE! They add interest. Perfect is boring, give people something to look for! I like them :).

  15. I had to look twice before I saw the issue - I say mix them up and let some flourish and some wilt in the final quilt and I bet no one will notice!

  16. My whole life is like that! Short story I went to put a movie in the VCR many years ago and it would not go in. Finally, I reach in as far as I can and it's sticky! I pull my fingers out it is peanut butter. My youngest (23 now) 2 at the time had crammed 1/2 her peanut butter sandwich in the VCR and then the tape which was why it wouldn't go in! I was so mad so I just laughed! So just laugh it off! It has nothing to do with your flowers which I love but hopefully it made you laugh! Use your very pretty flowers they are like people - one of a kind!

  17. Every daisy is beautiful and unique. It is the little differences that make them so ... :) Pat
