~ Lost and Found ~

Hello, Sweet Friends!  Look what I found hiding in my dresser full of unquilted tops.  Another patriotic quilt!  Funny how we make things and forget about them.  This top was started last year about this time of year.  You can read more about the fabrics and the star block here.

After searching my history on this quilt, it looks like it already has name.  Stars and Stripes Forever.  You can read more about the quilt design, the wavy border and the quilt that inspired my design here.

The quilting is going to be super simple, lots of free motion mixed with a little ruler work.

Linking up with these fine bloggers!

See you Friday for the finish!

  3. It's going to be awesome!! I have to keep a notebook to know what tops I have waiting in the wings. I don't normally fall so far behind, but I have this year and I am plugging away to get caught up! The problem is I love to piece and if I don't make self stop, I'll only have tops sitting around. I generally don't allow myself to have 3 unquilted tops sitting around. I have to get them quilted before I make more. Right now I have two basted and 6 waiting for backings. Yikes!!

  6. Lea Anne,
That is so funny that you forgot all about this project! Something important must have come up that made it disappear from your mind. I love it and how timely is it to find it now?!
