Charity Quilt #7

Who doesn't love blue and yellow?  It's one of my favorite combinations.  The wilder prints in this quilt are more fabrics that were to be used for making Vera Bradley style hand bags.

The rest of the fabrics were pulled from the stash to help slow down those wild prints.

The backing was also pulled from my stash.  I love this cute daisy print and have been holding onto it for over 10 yrs.  Just waiting on the right quilt pattern or quilt needing a backing.  It was hard to let her go but it's time for her to be used and loved by someone other than me.

It's getting a little harder to make the franken batting due to the smaller pieces of batting.  I'm guessing  there's about three more quilts worth of scrap batting.

The shelter receiving these quilts typically start needing more quilts around the first of November.  So my plan is to deliver the completed quilts by the first week of October.

Until next time...

I hope you find time to stitch up something sweet!
