How about a sneak peek? Just a little. There was a quilt already on the frame that had to be taken off unfinished in order to do this one. What can I say other than I'm a procrastinator. And really just wanted to keep the Quilty Mojo going on this cutie. The color issue from earlier in the week is fixed and she's well on her way to being done. The plan was to go simple and be finished by today but....Whats a quilt without a few feathers? And when you don't quilt for awhile and your over 40 yrs old the previously dormant muscles rebel.
Wanna see just how much I procrastinate.
Here's all my flimsy's in waiting. Eleven flimsy and 2 partially quilted quilts not shown. One of the partials isn't my fault(the blame game, procrastinators favorite tool) I ran out of thread and my local shop no longer carries it, and I can't find it online. We won't even talk about the UFO's.
See you when it's done!

Can't wait it see it finished!
ReplyDeleteOH OH OH - That is just gorgeous! Can't wait to see the finished quilt! I see that you resolved your "aqua" issue in another way (instead of sending it to me)...can't wait to see what you did. Cheery wave from Bev
ReplyDeleteIt's looking good so far! I'm sure it's going to be a stunner when you've finished adding the quilting.
ReplyDeletelovely things you have shared with us. How I wish I had discovered quilting and patchwork years ago then I might have had a few quilts of my own!! Maybe one day I will have one finished. Bit concerned that if at your age the muscles are objecting there is not much hope for me in mid sixties you has not even tried machine quilting yet
ReplyDeleteThe quilting looks great. Can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteYour quilting is almost heartbreakingly beautiful! There's no question about how gorgeous it will be when you finish. Thanks for the look.
