Quilting has become a very trendy and expensive hobby in the last 10 yrs. Back when I started quilting it wasn't so expensive to buy fabrics and patterns. Since 2008 the price of antique quilts has gone down but the price of making a new quilt has gone up. I don't understand economics but I do know that we quilters need a break!
