Hi-diddly-O Quilters! Happy Monday Morning! I'm linking up with Judy once more. I just love looking at all the design walls and progress. Hop-diddly-op on over and check it for yourselves, you won't regret it! So here's what I'm so excited about this morning.
TADA!
All 12 finished! Doing my happy dance, the hard parts over and from here on out its smoooooooth sailing. It should be done in no time.
See the tulip below with the little pink rose buds in the bottom left corner? That is from my moms stash. Its from the 1970's. I just love it when I can add some real vintage to the mix.
It hit me today that something needs to go in the middle of that "X" maybe a button or yo-yo?
Can you believe that all these blocks were made from scrap? Even the white. And there's so much more yet to use! Why do I let these scraps get so out of hand? So I can make a cutie patootie like this that's why!
My fave block...just cause I love red and green.
Threw in some 1930's reproductions in a few of the blocks.
And whats a quilt with out some gingham's! There's 4 or 5 different colors of gingham hiding among the mish-mash of fabrics.

Exactly what I was wanting to see. I have been thinking about your quilt this weekend. I feel like I need to make one... it's just too cute! Yeah! I knew it would be gorgeous when you finished!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of your scraps!! They need to sit in the pot and be stirred until they are ready to be created into something wonderful like this!! Scraps will be waiting---don't be so hard on yourself.
ReplyDeleteI love these blocks!
ReplyDeleteLove the blocks, very fresh looking.
