Time changes everything

In the last couple of weeks I've been whipping up some fast cute projects.  Some have been UFOs and some new.  When I found this UFO the plan was for another quicky.  Put a simple border on it, quilt with quick straight lines and have a      TA-DA moment within a day.  Well TA-DA!  It's not finished!
Being that it's only a 52 inch square it shouldn't take too long even with all the quilting.
Funny how time changes things. This started out as a bed size idea.  It still could be I guess...a baby bed.  Hey a bed is a bed, size doesn't matter.  Really I think this will be the first quilt to be hung on the wall behind my quilting frame.
Cross your fingers and toes for a Friday finish.
I'm linking up with Kelly over at My Quilt Infatuation.  There's some really cute link this week.  I found a cute little chicken pin cushion, mugrug, and a book cover tutorial just to name a few.

  1. Well sometimes inspiration hits. Love what you have quilted so far. Do you mark your quilts before you quilt them with anything special?

  3. You're right...time does change everything. Einstein said that time is like water with an ebb and flow and waves. I certainly feel like I'm on the down side of a big old wave of time and it's going so fast it makes me dizzy! Love your "bed quilt"-lol. Can't wait to see it finished! Have a good Thursday! XO
