Before sharing my design wall lets talk about the Design Wall linky over at Patchwork Times. Do you participate? It's a great way to find new and inspiring bloggers and guess what? They find you too! So hop on over to Judy's link up. I also suggest you take a look around the blog. Such an busy woman, and somehow she manages to blog about most of her busy life.
Okay now back to my wall. Not much has changed. Instead of going to town and buying more Kona white to finish my Daisies quilt, I decided start more projects. Another day or two quilting and I should have a finish, you can see it here.
While we're on the subject of new projects did you see that Moda Bakeshop has a new quilt along? The first block from Craft Sisters was posted yesterday. They are calling it The Trifle Dish Sew Along. Of course it would have a food name, how cute! It's a row quilt that moves along pretty quick instead of slooooooow most quilt alongs. How fast? The last tutorial will be on July 1. I'm seriously considering this one just for that reason. And it's designed to use up scraps and precuts. One more good thing about The Trifle Dish Sew Along
...IT'S FREE!
And there will be PRIZES!
A little TIP when doing quilt alongs (if your not one to check another quilters math skills) wait a day or two after a post before starting. Then go back and read the comments under that post. If there's an error in the directions usually someone has found it and has posted a comment.
So my Daisies and Little Misses may take a backseat...Maybe.
