Coriander Quilts ~ Flag Block

It's amazing how one little scrappy flag block can make me so happy!  Sure it takes a long time to cut up scraps but the result is so darn cute.

Corey suggested we use white on white for the side pieces shown below.  White on white isn't in my stash and I didn't want plain ole white fabric in its place.  The flag doesn't stand out as well but I think it still looks like a flag block.

Here's the real dilemma.  Do I make more or make this into a small project?  The quilty soul screams more since the box of red, white and blues is over flowing.  There's plenty of chores to be done around Podunk before quilty playtime can start today.  Working will allow me time to think about how to proceed.   Me, myself and I have already been discussing the options.  This trio can be unbearable at times and then other times they come up with some really good ideas.

If you would like to make your own scrappy flag blocks the FREE pattern can be found over at Coriander Quilts along with three other scrappy quilt blocks.

Until next time...

I hope you find time to stitch up something sweet!

  1. I'm sure the trio will come up with an excellent plan. This little block went together in no time!
