The Studio is finally finished. Who would have thought organizing and cleaning would take a week!? So while it's still clean, come on in for a tour. The video is around 20 minutes long so grab a cup of whatever and pull up a chair. For those of you who don't like to watch videos I'll be posting a picture tour on the blog Monday. That will give everyone time to watch the video and ask questions that can answer in the blog post.
I understand not everyone loves videos or they don't have high speed internet so.....If you would like to see my Studio with out watching a video you can find a picture tutorial by clicking here.
Fun. Love seeing your sewing space. Got some great ideas for storage in my space, too. Love the expandable curtain rods - perfect.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing your space, it’s very cute and I love how you have set it up.
ReplyDeleteI just watched your video, and it was so much fun! I love seeing where women create, and your tour was extra special because you narrated in such a personal, friendly way.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour and congrats on a beautiful studio. Your hard work really paid off and you deserve that room. Love your setup and organization. Can I just say pure envy...… Claudia
ReplyDeleteThank you, my studio is years in the making, about 20 yrs. Its been a little here and there. It's one of those never ending projects, constantly evolving.
DeleteAlways reassuring to see that others have numerable WIP's . . . !
ReplyDeleteEnvious of all your space. When you post tour pics on your blog, any chance you could include links/info on the circular rugs you are making - also curious about the small design boards - Love the DIY aspect of your tools and tables.
My Works in Progress are many I didn't show all of them in the video. Maybe later in the week I'll do a blog post showing all of my UFO's. Here's the link you wanted for the rug. http://vintagericrac.blogspot.com/2015/07/how-to-sew-fabric-rug-tutorial.html I'l be sure to mention it in blog post for those who were curious. I'm also in need of more mini design board so guess what?...You guessed it! Another blog post coming soon! I was trying to keep my video as short as possible and show as much as possible, so a lot of information was left out. Thanks for your input.
DeleteDid you make your design boards? If so, do you have a pattern or tutorial for making them?
ReplyDeleteLove the new studio!!! You deserve it :)
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your space. It is nice and roomy. My space is only about 8 feet by 9 maybe smaller. I like your organization. I like to repurpose items also.
ReplyDeletehi, Lea Anne, really enjoyed seeing your studio, and hearing your voice! I have been reading your blog for a long time, and am looking forward to all your new ideas. Best wishes, Loraine.x
ReplyDeleteThank you for the tour, what an efficient way to have your studio set up. One concern, hopefully the wood inside those cabinets, drawers and cupboards is not bare wood. The acid in bare wood can damage our wonderful quilting fabrics. Would not want that to happen to do to you.
ReplyDeleteAh found your studio tour!!! Very nice!
